Our alert last week was prescient. At some point between 1pm on Monday January 23rd and 3.50pm on Sunday 29th, there was a forced entry to a house in Amberley Way. The offender(s) gained access to the rear of the property through an unlocked side gate, and they then removed a pane of glass from a rear ground floor window. Once inside they made a tidy search of the property, targeting cash and jewellery.
The owners were away on holiday and it is difficult to pinpoint the precise date of the burglary, but if anyone has any information about the incident, please contact the Police on 101. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Please pass this information round as widely as possible and be vigilant over security and valuables. If you see suspicious behaviour, especially at night, be prepared to phone 999.
