Consultation on the proposed changes to South Gloucestershire Council’s Local Planning Application Requirements 2017
Planning application requirements come in two parts; the first set out the national statutory requirements, which is not subject to this consultation, with the second comprising of the Local Planning Authorities (LPA) own information requirements.
LPAs must regularly review their own lists to ensure they are relevant, current and clearly identify when a requirement may or may not be necessary.
This review has resulted in an additional requirement to include the request for an Energy Statement and updates to policies. The proposed Local Planning Application requirements for South Gloucestershire can be found on our website.
We would like to hear your views on the proposed changes to the local list. Any comments received will be taken into account when the revised local requirements are taken forward for formal adoption and publication.
Please send us your comments on the proposed changes to the local lists by 16 October 2017:
By e-mail to email@example.com, with “Review of Local Planning Application Requirements 2017” in the subject line.
