Please be advised of the following temporary road closure:

B4060 Wickwar Road, Kingswood (1623)

This road will be closed from 4th October 2010 to 5th November 2010 to allow for bridge refurbishment works at Bunsall Rail Bridge by contractors working on behalf of Network Rail.

Survive is a dynamic, innovative agency that provides high quality services to women and children affected by domestic violence in South Gloucestershire and Bristol. We are currently advertising the following position:

Play Leader (22 hours) / Family Support Worker (7.5 hours) (female only*)
Starting salary: £14,000-£15,000 for 29.5 hrs / week (Hay 10: PL hours, Hay 8: FSW hours.)

Ladden Brook Safer Stronger Community Group

The new South Gloucestershire Joint Carers Strategy is out for consultation with from 1st July 2010 until the end of October 2010.

The Strategy is a joint document produced by South Gloucestershire Council in partnership with NHS South Gloucestershire, carers, the Princess Royal Trust for Carers and voluntary and community sector organisations.

We are seeking views from carers, professionals and other interested parties on the priorities identified and suggested actions.

Wickwar Playing Fields Association Public Consultation

Tuesday 21st April 2009 - Wickwar Town Hall - 4:30 – 9:00pm

The Wickwar Playing Fields Association trustees are holding a public consultation to discuss the planned changes for the new fields. You are invited to ‘drop in’ and view the proposed access improvements to the fields and the WPFA trustees will be available to answer questions and queries about the proposals. Any feedback concerning the new plans will be welcomed.
