Home Access - Free Computers for Low-income Families

Home Access

Home Access provides grants to low income families to buy computer and/or internet packages so they can learn safely, have fun and achieve more at school. Following the successful pilot, the Home Access programme is now available nationally across England.

The Population of Wickwar

WickwarWe've done some research into the population of Wickwar which you may be interested to see. The totals below are from 1801 to 1901. We have not found any figures yet for 1911 onwards except that in 2001 the population was 1943 made up of 945 males and 998 woman.

Village Fair 2009After another dreadful grey, gloomy summer we all prayed for a sunny day for the 27th Annual Village Fair.

Thankfully our prayers were answered and a gorgeous sunny day arrived which helped bring in the crowds.

Fun Run 2009The day of the Fun Run arrived and for a pleasant change the weather was perfect and as a result a grand total of 160 runners duly turned up to register for the 7th Wickwar Fun Run.
