Home Access provides grants to low income families to buy computer and/or internet packages so they can learn safely, have fun and achieve more at school. Following the successful pilot, the Home Access programme is now available nationally across England.

We've done some research into the population of Wickwar which you may be interested to see. The totals below are from 1801 to 1901. We have not found any figures yet for 1911 onwards except that in 2001 the population was 1943 made up of 945 males and 998 woman.

Come and learn the traditional art of fruit tree pruning from some of our local experts. It’ll be a real hands-on workshop planting new trees and pruning. Tools provided; bring gloves and warm, waterproof clothes and boots.

The following dates are scheduled for Parish Walks:
Sunday, 21st February - 9.30am
Sunday, 21st March - 9.30am
Sunday, 18th April - 9.30am
Meet at the Town Hall, High Street, Wickwar.
We will walk some of the local footpaths. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Some of the walks may be muddy and there may be stiles to climb.
